Poolenalena Revisited

On Sunday Don and I were able to have a good look at the new house at Poolenalena. We walked all around and looked through windows. It is in the last stages of construction. The foot print of Grandma and Grandpa's house was largely followed. The biggest change was the extension of the wall along the long corridor looking into the courtyard. That entire wall has been pushed out and is now flush with where the kitchen door to the carport used to be. You'll see in the photos posted on Don and Lynne's Blog. In general the house looked and felt really good. Even though it the old house was completely demolished and then rebuilt, it felt strangely familiar.

The most beautiful baby was born at 10:18. She's 8lbs 1oz and has dark hair. She's also 20.5" long. Here's a preview.
