I thought about you yesterday when Austin pointed out that "our neighborhood" (meaning our neighbor) was playing the organ yesterday. I think it was her first time too. I was wondering how your practices were going. It sounds like you survived though, hopefully it will just get easier.
You're right, Dad. I was awesome!!!! (But just because I didn't cry--and it was possible to tell what song I was playing.) My fingers were so sweaty during the second hymn that I could barely keep them on the keys. When have I ever had sweaty fingers before in my life?!?!

Good job! One down, just a couple more to go!
It makes me cringe just thinking about it! I have to talk next Sunday but still... thats only once every ten years!

Sorry to hear about your sweaty hands, but at least that's it for you! I can't even hold Jane without a blanket between us.
I thought of you, too, right after I uncharitably wondered why it seems like all the hymns are played too slow.
Then I felt bad for the judging the organist in your honor and was grateful we have someone who plays for us. 'Cause I sure can't.
Yet another way you rock.
