Pioneer Day
Is anyone doing anything for the 24th--Friday--three days from now?? Doug is working a double shift (despite my best efforts that man is a maniac) and Jack knows that it's the second official day of the summer when you can light off fireworks, but I don't feel like doing a fireworks night by myself. So, anyone...anyone? What are your plans? Also, an old seminary friend of mine keeps pushing me to come to the Anaheimer's reunion at Orem park and wants me to let you all know about it.... (I don't quite feel like doing that either.) Please, help me...

I have no plans yet. But my kids are getting stir crazy for sure. You can come here! We can play at the park and such. I think I have a slip n slide, too. Anybody can come, really.
Kimball's brother will probably be spending the night with us Friday to Saturday, but he's really nice.
Our family is sticking around here and doing an evening BBQ and then we are buying fireworks for the night. The teenagers want to get MORE fireworks than we did on the 4th and really work up a good show! You are more than welcome to join us for the evening program, food, entertainment, whatever. Keep me posted!
We have no plans but Ryan has to work. I'll come anywhere anyone wants me plus four extra kids. :) I was trying to decide if I should have a party for Austin for his birthday (I'm not going to attempt that on Monday with all the last minute shopping and packing I have to do) but I also didn't think you guys would want to make a big drive down here right before our big trip next week. I'm willing to still do a party here if you guys would rather come here but I'm fine with coming up to Jacque's or Nikki's too. Man, are we indecisive or what?
Let me know what you guys decide for sure and I'll show up. Just tell me what to bring.
I will probably go to Jacque's, because my worst sickness has been in the evenings lately, so I can get home quickly if I need to. Sorry, Nik (love ya).

Jacque's house: 4:00-8:00
Jacque's grilling hot dogs, Mom is bringing hot dog buns, Breanne can bring chips, Lauren can bring drinks and I'm bringing a watermelon and rice-crispie treats. Adam, are you coming?
Nikki, can I come to your house around 8:30 and stay till fireworks??

I'm all for bringing a birthday present for Austin if you want to have a mini party, Lauren!
The party plans sound good. I don't think I want anyone to have to worry about getting Austin a present, though. I think we'll just have a family party for him on Sat. Thanks for offering, though. You're always so thoughtful.
